Project Manager - Civils Framework - Essex - £50-55K + Package

Our client are a well established civil engineering main contractor operating throughout the UK. They are working on a framework within the South East and are seeking to employ a project manager to oversee a portfolio of works.

As the project manager you will:

* Have experience managing civils projects
* Be responsible for a portfolio of works valued up to £5million
* Have experience working on either bridges, retaining walls, embankments, tunnels, culverts, drainage or earthworks
* Deal with subcontractors on work progression and issues
* Ensure site managers carry out their duties efficiently and effectively
* Liaise and co-operate effectively with the design team
* Attend Client meetings and advise on progress, commercial and safety issues
* Ensure works are carried out with full consideration of safety

You will have:

* Minimum of a HNC in civil engineering or building
* Experience in managing a portfolio
* Experience in managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously
* Experience working on civils projects valued up to £5million
* Good interpersonal skills
* Experience with programming and planning

Along with this you will manage and oversee a number of site managers within your portfolio. You will be given full responsibility to manage the portfolio but also have the support of the contracts manager.
